Seasonal Doula

  • Having personally navigated an ovarian cyst, domestic abuse, multiple miscarriages and divorce, I know more than anyone how cyclical life is. It’s up, down and sometimes sideways. There are seasons to grieve, rest, retreat, renew, birth and sometimes, watch every single Harry Potter film on your sofa in one sitting.

    While life can be unpredictable, having support and guidance should be guaranteed. 

    Whatever kind of doulaship and friendship you might need, I’m here to support you as you ride the waves of conception, pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, postpartum, infertility, divorce and beyond.

    I offer you evidence based advice, support, friendship, guidance, resources, referrals, tenderness, tea and home cooked food to nourish you. This life thing can be hard. Let’s make it less hard.

  • Shadow Boxing with your Shadow Self 

    I don’t know about you, but I’m angry. Angry in a way that I’m proud of, because it’s shows that I’m alive.

    When we don’t try and squash our rage into a tiny box, swallowing it down and locking it away in the pit of our stomach, rage can be sacred, especially for women, who, to be frank, have quite a lot to be pissed off (and hopeful!) about.

    Shadow Boxing with your Shadow Self is a martial arts informed somatic practice to address and affirm female rage and grief. Living in a female body in this day and age is HARD, and yet, there isn’t much time or space for female rage, or the emotion that often sits right beneath it: grief. 

    In Shadow Boxing with your Shadow Self, I create a container to call your rage and grief to the surface. In partnership with my mama, I use martial arts inspired movements and sound healing therapy, I invite women to call their rage to the surface, to feel it move through their bodies and out of their fists and feet. As anger dissipates, we drop into our grief, using somatic movements and circle work to tenderly hold whatever comes up. We close with a restorative meditation, drawing sustenance up from the earth and from the women we sit with. We close the session with a fortifying women’s wellness tea and the knowledge that our shadow selves are welcome, loved and set free.

Story Witnessing & Writing

  • We need to be heard, to release the words stuck inside of our bodies. Other times, the words are there, but we can’t quite get them out. We want help birthing our story and recording it. I use my background as a writer to help you transform your experience into something you can hold and revisit. I listen to your experience and capture it in story form, using my words to help honour and heal transitional experiences like menstruation, birth, miscarriage, abortion and beyond. 

Holistic Pelvic Care

  • In England, when you say vagina, lots of people put their hands over their ears. 

    According to a YouGov survey, half of Brits (both men and women) don’t know where the vagina is. If you’re one of those people, it’s ok, you’re not meant to know, because no one taught you. That information has been kept from you. Instead, we grew up with people calling our vulvas “flowers” or “front bottoms”.

    BUT, you’re here. You have questions and you deserve answers.

    All parts of our bodies deserve (and need) care and attention. Think of how many knots you get in your back when you’re stressed, how tight your jaw is and how your shoulders can slowly creep up towards your ears. Your vagina is likely holding a huge amount of tension too - but, it’s most likely, that you’ve only ever received medical, sexual or predatory touch when it comes to this pretty major gateway. Think dodgy tampons, childbirth, awkward dates, sexual abuse, stress, too much pilates, surgeries…

    Our bodies need some TLC.

    That’s where Holistic Pelvic Care™ (HPC) comes in. HPC physically and energetically realigns your pelvis to enhance creative potential, pelvic wellness, post-partum care, pelvic pain, and healing for miscarriage. 

    HPC care combines elements of physical therapy, energy work, and emotional healing to address imbalances and provide healing and nourishment.

    The practice involves gentle, hands-on techniques, through external and internal massage. These techniques release tension, increase circulation, and restore balance in the pelvic bowl. They include working with myofascial release, trigger point therapy, internal pelvic muscle release, craniosacral therapy. 

    This work is supported by my background in somatic sexological bodywork, doulaship and yoni steaming.

    We deserve this kind of hands on care, tending and truth.

  • I facilitate healing circles and ceremonies to help you memorialise moments that are important. We’ll work together to conceptualise culturally meaningful practices that feel celebratory and supportive, and most importantly, center you. I help you pause, take up time and space, and integrate.

I wrote the poem below as a meditation on how we are carried in water, wombs and women, from generation to generation, across ocean and seas. I share it with you as a window into my mind, and the place from which my work is born.

I am a journey

that started in my grandmother’s womb,

beneath the monsoon skies of Chợ Lớn at noon.

my mother,

a fetus, nestled in the oceans of bà ngoại,

me,

an egg buried deep within má and bà,

layers of matriarchy keeping me warm and waiting.

I am a bridge between past, present and future

connecting lifetimes and lives

spent floating inside

bodies of water, women and wombs.
